Transferable Skills

These skills have different names, but the key identifier is that you don’t have to learn them at your new job – you bring them with you! These skills may come from previous jobs, high school or college classes, or volunteer work. These skills can make you the best candidate for a job, because the employer won't have to spend time and money training you. This workshop will help you "name them and claim them" on your job search marketing tools (where you advertise your valuable skill set). This workshop is especially valuable if you are not returning to the same company or to duties similar to your previous employment.
