Soft Skills (JCW Virtual Workshop)

Job Center of Wisconsin VIRTUAL WORKSHOP

Soft Skills

Soft Skills are also known as Common Skills or Core Skills and are skills which are desirable in all professionals. These include critical thinking, problem solving, public speaking, professional writing, teamwork, digital literacy, leadership and work ethic among others. This is in contrast to hard skills which are specific to individual professions. We hope that when you leave this workshop you will have a clear understanding of what Soft Skills are and how they will help you in your job search. You will learn new terms and phrases to identify yourself and will help your resume stand out.
