Job Center of Wisconsin VIRTUAL WORKSHOP
Interviewing Basics (with tips for virtual interviews)
The primary purpose of a cover letter and resume is to get you in the room for an interview! The interview is your opportunity to demonstrate your energetic positive attitude about working, explain how previous work experience is relevant to this new job, and make a sales pitch on why you are the best fit for this employer. We will cover the basics, including what to wear and what to bring, plus special preparations for "pre-screening" and "video/remote" interviews.
