Re-Entry & Justice Impacted
If you were incarcerated or involved in the justice system, the following programs are available to help with your employment and future! The Windows to Work Program is a voluntary re-entry program designed to help individuals transition from incarceration back to the community successfully. The Department of Corrections Community Employment Program (CCEP) offers employment and training support to people currently supervised by the Department of Corrections.
Windows to Work is is offered by Forward Careers, Inc.
CCEP is offered by State of Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

These programs are for anyone who was incarcerated or involved in the justice system.
Eligibility for Windows to Work:
-Currently incarcerated at Waukesha County Jail/Huber Facility or Washington County Jail
-Assessed by P.O. and COMPAS recommended supervision level of medium, medium with override consideration, or high
-On DCC supervision for at least 1 year from enrollment date
-Unemployed at the time of enrollment
-Must be able to work (not collecting or applying for SSI)
-Reside in Waukesha, Ozaukee or Washington County.
Eligibility for CCEP:
-Currently supervised by the Department of Corrections
-Ask for a referral from your probation and parole agent
-Many participants in this program have demonstrated efforts to improve themselves, based on enhancing their education level and/or vocational skills during their incarceration

The Windows to Work Program is a voluntary re-entry program designed to help individuals transition from incarceration back to the community successfully. This program provides pre- and post-release services and promotes self-sufficiency through skill development and cognitive behavioral training.
The Community Corrections Employment Program (CCEP) is a statewide program designed to assist offenders in obtaining the skills necessary to obtain and maintain employment in a competitive work environment. Participants are assessed and placed into services based on their level of skill and work readiness. CCEP Coordinators work closely with employers and other community agencies to provide employment opportunities and additional employment related assistance as needed.

My Way Out is a Milwaukee-based program and technology portal that connects returning citizens skills, resources, and connections to navigating returning to the workforce.

St. Dismas Vincent Jail Ministry meets the spiritual and physical needs of the men and women of the Waukesha County Jail. One-on-one jail visits are central to the ministry, St Dismas Jail Ministry members provide numerous other services; support Services at the Waukesha County Jail, After Release – Jail Ministry Aftercare Program, Men’s Aftercare Group ~ Hope Upon Release, and Women’s Aftercare Group ~ Joyful Souls Arising.
