March 22, 2017 – Pewaukee, WI – Whether hoping to find a fresh start, a better job, or a new career direction, job seekers will find a wealth of exciting opportunities at the Workforce Development Center’s Job Fair from on April 20th at the Waukesha County Technical College – S Building (Gymnasium), 800 Main Street, Pewaukee, WI 53072.

1:00 to 1:30 PM (Veterans)

1:30 to 4:30 PM (General Public)

Over 140 local businesses and employment resource organizations will be participating in the free event. No pre-registration is required for the public.

Pewaukee, WIS. – In honor of Veterans Day the Workforce Development Center held a public screening of the award-winning documentary ‘Almost Sunrise: Hope is on the Horizon’. A reception to pay tribute to the men and women in the military preceded the film and included comments by Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow, WOW Workforce Development Board President Laura Catherman, Job Center Coordinator Beth Norris, Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialist Ivery Montgomery, and Local Veterans Employment Representative Brian Feltes.

Pewaukee, WIS. – The Workforce Development Center is sparking innovation and showcasing a Customer Centered Design project at the White House! The Workforce Development Center’s team is one of fifteen from across the country who have been selected to attend a Learning Exchange and Celebration in Washington DC on September 18-19, 2016. Customer Centered Design is intended to create innovative ways to improve the customer experience and outcomes for customers of America’s Job Centers.
